To the east is the La Sal mountains at 12,000 ft and to the north, the Book Cliffs, a 200 mile long mesa where bison, big horn sheep ,and wild horses still roam.
Epicenter is the coolest place west of the Mississippi River. If you pass through Utah and you don't stop here you have made a major mistake.
