Very fun experience.
Very fun and pretty challenging. Definitely helps to have two people but you could do it alone. Kids or shorter people may have difficulty without assistance in some areas.
Depending on the time of year you go there may be fairly deep water. (In late May there was chest high water at points) I was not prepared for the amount of water and should not have brought my expensive camera gear with me. I decided to turn back down at the top of Ding canyon because I didn't want to slip and submerge my camera gear coming down Dang (we heard from another hiker it was deepest there)
travel up through Ding, around Ding Dang Dome, then descend through Dang. bring your dang ol' canyon hands, and if you're bringing a dog, plan to fashion a harness from spare imagination.
Adventure! Dang is more technical than Ding and requires some downclimbing. Could be difficult for first timers. Bring some rope or webbing to use as a hand line.
Incredibly fun hike. Involves some climbing, some water (when it has rained recently) and some leisurely hiking. And the scenery is fantastic. VERY REMOTE area. Bring a lot of water, then bring more water...you can't just run out to the corner store to restock. But if you want a nice quiet place to take in the desert scenery and do a bit of moderate canyoneering and scrambling, this is a great spot. Cannot say enough good about the place. It was the final stop on our month long road trip and it was a great way to end our adventure.
